Spa location can greatly influence the nature of the spa itself; treatments and products used in the spa may incorporate local techniques and ingredients, and home-grown produce and authentic dishes may be featured in the restaurant menu reflecting the culture and traditions of the area.  While staying at a spa there are always opportunities to explore the local area and discover another country and its culture.
